How our robotic bar rental works.

Hire a robot bartender the turnkey way: everything is engineered before event day, so the show runs itself while your guests film it.

STEP 01

Send bottle & glass samples

At least 48 hours ahead, send samples of your bottles and glasses — or we start testing with our own sample bottles.

STEP 02

We print & program

Engineers 3D-print custom bottle grips and glass coasters, then write your pour programs in advance.

STEP 03

We install in ~1 hour

Two technicians deliver and build the bar at your venue. After the event, strike takes about 2 hours — all included.

STEP 04

Engineer-run all night

A robotics engineer and assistant operate the whole event. Guests press a button; RoboBar pours on demand.

About alcohol: Spacelab doesn’t sell or supply alcohol or beverages. All drinks and glassware come from you or your caterer — RoboBar does the pouring.

The standard finish is clean gallery white. For brand activations we wrap the entire bar in your colors, logo, and messaging — a quoted add-on that turns the robot into your billboard.

For an influencer event above the Pacific in Big Sur, Lancôme took over the full unit — logo on the bar, LED accents to match, and a robot pouring wine for guests with the ocean behind it. Same robot, completely their moment.

Robot bartender rental — FAQ.

How much does a robot bartender rental cost in Los Angeles?

Our special offer is $3,000 for a full 6-hour shift with delivery within Los Angeles included — install, custom bottle grips, engineer operation, and teardown are all part of it. Additional hours, delivery beyond LA, and custom branding are quoted separately; taxes are not included. Send your details and we usually confirm availability the same day.

Who supplies the alcohol and glassware?

You or your caterer do — Spacelab doesn’t sell or supply alcohol or beverages. RoboBar pours from standard glass bottles (required) into any glassware you like: champagne flutes, whiskey tumblers, martini glasses, even plastic cups.

How much space and power does RoboBar need?

The bar is 33 inches wide and 67 inches tall, so it fits through a standard door — no rigging or freight access needed. It runs on standard household power from a single 20-amp outlet, and it’s very quiet: the small air compressor for the gripper can sit away from the bar.

How long does setup and teardown take?

Two technicians install RoboBar in about an hour before your event and strike it in about 2 hours afterward. Delivery, install, and teardown are all included — you never touch a cable.

Who runs the robot during the event?

A robotics engineer and an assistant engineer operate RoboBar for your entire event — both included. The only extra hands needed are a waiter or hostess to swap in fresh bottles; your caterer can cover that, or we can quote one for you.

How do guests order a drink?

Each guest presses one of four backlit, labeled buttons on the bar and RoboBar pours their choice on demand — about 10 seconds per glass, up to four glasses a minute, for as long as the party runs.

Can RoboBar be branded for our event?

Yes. The standard finish is clean white, and custom wraps, colors, and logos are available as a quoted add-on — Lancôme wrapped the entire bar for an influencer event in Big Sur.

What do you need from us before event day?

Send samples of your bottles and glasses at least 48 hours ahead. Our engineers 3D-print custom bottle grips and glass coasters and write the pour programs in advance, so event day is pure show. We also keep our own sample bottles for early testing.
